Terms and Conditions

The Customer agrees and acknowledges that the use of the services offered by Drive On Demand is at the sole risk of the Customer. The liability of Drive On Demand is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Customer has rented a vehicle from Drive On Demand platform for Tourist Purposes.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED
  • Driving license and Aadhar Card, Voter Id Issued by Government.
  • Students Must carry their Collage/institution Id Card and others must furnish local Id for the Address Proof.
  • Without absence of Job/Collage ID, Local IDs a customer is not eligible to rent a car under Drive On Demand Platform.
  • A customer has to share the requisite documents for the Pre-verification to the officials of Drive On Demand via Email or any internet sharing platform.
  • In the absence of above mentioned requisite Documents under clause a and b the booking will be treated as Cancelled and Rs.500/- is to be paid by the customer as verification charges. Further security deposit, if any, will be refunded to the customer.
  • The Customer is authorized to drive under all circumstances, if there are co-drivers, they need to produce the relevant documents at time of booking.
WORKING HOURS

The working hours shall be 8AM to 11PM on every working day.

TYPES OF BOOKINGS
  • All day drive: for 24hrs
  • Sunset drive: 12hrs
  • Long Drive: For bookings exceeding 24 hours.
AGE REQUIREMENT
  • Minimum 20 Years for Normal vehicles.
  • Minimum 23 Years for Premium Range of vehicles.
OVER SPEEDING CHARGES (EXCEEDING 80KM/HOUR)
  • A penalty of Rs. 200/- shall be charged on the first instance for exceeding the speed limit of 80km/hr.
  • An additional penalty of Rs 500/- shall be charged for each time from the second instance of over speeding i.e., exceeding the speed limit of 80km/hr.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
  • The security deposit is to be paid at the time of delivery of the vehicle to the customer and in case of pre booking at the time of submitting the documents for verification.
  • A security deposit of Rs.10,000/- for Premium Range Vehicles; and Rs.2500/- for normal range vehicle.
  • The Security Deposit Payment can be made through PAYTM / PhonePe/Google Pay / Card Payments /Cash.
  • Security Money will be refunded as per the Mode of Payment by the Customer.
  • In case of Any Violation of Terms & Conditions by Customer then the Security Money will be Deducted/Adjusted within 24 Hours from the Drop Time of the vehicle and the rest amount shall be refunded as per above mentioned clause d.
DRIVING LIMITATIONS
  • Unlimited Kilometer is Offered to the Customer for the Normal range vehicles.
  • A restricted range of 180 Kms for 24 Hours is prescribed for Premium Range Vehicles. Extra Charges is Rs30 per km Will be charged from the customer after the customer has exhausted the 24 hours limit of 180 km.
  • Perimeter Limits: A customer is permitted to drive within the boundaries of State of Odisha except in places mentioned under the first schedule. In case the customer intends to travel outside the limits mentioned above the customer must Inform In Advance to the Drive on Demand officials failing which a penalty of Rs.5000/- will be charged from the customer.
  • Unlimited Kilometers Only applicable on All Day Drive (24hrs) & Long Drive Bookings (More than 24 hrs).
  • A range of 98 Kms is Limited for Sunset Drive Booking (12 hrs), An additional penalty of Rs 12/- shall be charged for per km for exceeding the 98km limit.
PROHIBITED USE

Customers are not allowed to carry arms, ammunition, banned drugs & Pets. In addition, use of car for commercial activity such as product sell and promotion, and carry goods is strictly prohibited. In such cases, customers will be charged a penalty of Rs. 5000. The customer is also prohibited to use the vehicle for following purposes:

  • For any speed race or competition;
  • For the purpose of towing, pushing, Marriage or propelling any trailer or any other vehicle;
  • For the primary business purpose of transporting people or operating a taxi service;
  • By any person who is under the influence of (i) alcohol or (ii) any drug or medication under the effects of which the operation of a vehicle is prohibited or not recommended.
  • Illegal Nature: For the purpose of commission of any crime or other illegal or unlawful activity.
  • Only customer who has furnished the verified requisite documents is authorized to drive the vehicle. If any other person found Driving the vehicle or Sub-letting the vehicle then Security money will be forfeited along with an additional Fine of Rs.5000/- and the entire amount of damages (if any) will be recovered from the customer.
  • Smoking, Drinking & Other Types of prohibited Drugs and substance are not Allowed Inside The car. If Any such above mentioned substance is Found inside the car then a fine of Rs.2000/- shall be charged.
  • If vehicle not found in same hygienic condition after trip completion, 300/- Washing charges will be applicable.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

Drive On Demand makes reasonable best efforts to provide roadside assistance support in all cases. If, however, a User's need for Roadside Assistance results from a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the User may be charged for the full costs of the service.

LATE CHARGES
  • If the Customer Exceeds the Time Limit without any prior notice before 06 Hours of expiry Of time limit prescribed above then a fine of Rs, 500/- in addition to extra Per Hour Charge Rs.150/Hr (Hatchback), Rs.200/Hr. (Sedan), Rs. 250/Hr (SUV's).
  • Extension Rules are Subject to availability of vehicles as per request.
INSURANCE & DAMAGE CHARGES
  • Drive on demand will not be responsible for any damages during the travel, if any damage while travelling customer should take care of the repair charges by their own up to Rs.50,000/- In Normal range vehicles & Rs. 75,000/- In Premium range Vehicles.
  • Insurance claim will be applicable for damages or repair charges above Rs.50,000/- For Normal vehicles and Rs.75, 000/- for premium range Vehicles. The customer will be liable to pay any excess charges apart from claim amount.
  • During the valid booking trip period any mechanical fault in the car, Drive On Demand will do alternate arrangements without any costs.
  • Damages exceeding Rs.50000/- for normal range vehicles and Rs. 75000/- for premium range vehicles, estimation will be claimable as per insurance policy. The claim duration and the repair period will be treated as rental period and the rental charges accruing during the above-mentioned period shall be paid by the customer responsible for such damages.

Vehicles registered with Drive On Demand shall be constantly tracked with advanced telematics for security reasons and reasons deemed fit and proper by Drive On Demand. Drive On Demand is entitled to terminate any Booking at any time without providing any reason and prior notice to the customer.

PICK UP AND DROP POLICY
  • The default pick up and drop location shall be as per the convenience of Drive On Demand.
  • Drive on Demand provides free Airport Delivery as a part of its Complimentary Services between 8AM-8PM.
  • For Pick up/Drop up within the of 20Kms radius from the registered office, a Delivery a charge Rs. 400/- shall be charged.
CANCELLATION POLICY
  • In case of advance bookings 75% of the total amount of Rental shall be Refunded in case of any cancellations before 48hrs of the booking.
  • 50% of amount will be refunded in case of cancellation within 48hrs to 24hrs of the booking.
  • 25% will be refundable within 24hrs of booking.
  • Rs.500 Will be Deductible on Swapping/Change of Vehicle other than the previously booked vehicle.
  • If Customer Doesn't Pick Up the Vehicle Within 06 Hours from the Pick-up time without information then the Booking will be Treated as Cancelled and the customer will not be entitled for any refunds.
  • In case of Cancellation of booking refund amount will be credited within 03 Working Days from the Date of Cancellation subject to clause 1, 2 and 3.
  • The customer is not entitled to any reimbursement in case of early dropping for any reasons on existing / ongoing bookings.
FUEL POLICY

The vehicle must be returned by the customer, upon completion of the booking with fuel at the same level as at start of the booking. If the vehicle returned with lesser fuel than the fuel level at the start of the trip, then refueling Charge will be applicable up to the same fuel level.

Excessive refueling is on sole risk of customer & will not be responsible for reimbursing refueling charges.
